Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design during development and transition to production
- Responsible for prototype mechanical assembly and integration during development and pre-production
Requirements
- B.Sc./B.A. in Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer
- Experience in core areas: heat transfer, vibrations, environmental resistance, drive systems, gearing
- High proficiency in SolidWorks
- Knowledge and experience in developing mechanical mechanisms
Nice to have
- Experience in aircraft structural design
- Experience with composite materials for aircraft
- Experience in strength analysis
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems
- System-of-systems understanding
