Exciting opportunity to design precision mechanisms, pneumatic/vacuum systems, and structural parts for cutting-edge semiconductor inspection equipment. You will lead the mechanical development process from concept to production, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requires 7+ years of experience, SolidWorks proficiency, and hands-on mechanical design skills.
Responsibilities
- Design precision mechanisms and structural components for semiconductor inspection systems.
- Develop pneumatic, vacuum, filtration, and cooling systems.
- Execute R&D experiments and perform mechanical and thermal simulations.
- Lead mechanical development from concept to production, conducting design reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and production line.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7+ years of mechanical design experience.
- High proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software.
- Experience with manufacturing technologies (machining, 3D printing, sheet metal).
- Experience with small and accurate mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience in assembly, integration, and validation of mechanical assemblies.
- Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
Nice to have
- Experience in opto-mechanical design.
- Knowledge in pneumatics.
- Experience with mechanical, thermal, and CFD / flow simulations and analysis.
- Experience with PLM software and change management processes.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry.
