Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for end-to-end mechanical development, from concept to manufacturing, in a startup environment. Requires 10+ years of mechanical design, hands-on prototyping, and cross-disciplinary integration.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex mechanical development from concept to production
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, thermal, and structural constraints
- Prototype and test mechanical systems and mechanisms
- Develop designs using metals (titanium, aluminum), plastics, and carbon fiber
- Oversee manufacturing processes including CNC machining and 3D printing
- Conduct thermal and stress analysis for lightweight structures
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of mechanical design experience
- Strong hands-on prototyping and testing skills
- Proficiency in designing mechanical mechanisms and static assemblies
- Experience with titanium, aluminum, CNC, plastic 3D printing, and electronic enclosures
Nice to have
- Aerospace, UAV, or space-industry experience
- Thermal management expertise
- Stress analysis and lightweight structural optimization
- Carbon-fiber chassis design experience
