Senior Hardware Engineer
Lead new projects in PCIe 5.0 board level designs for RAID storage controller cards. Work with cross-functional teams to bring designs from prototype to production. Design high-speed boards, ensure signal integrity, and lead debug and validation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-speed boards, including schematic design and layout supervision
- Lead high-speed and power routing, ensuring signal integrity compliance
- Lead hardware debug, prototype bring-up, and validation of new board designs
- Implement and support interface designs with DDR5, ONFI, I2C/I3C, CPLD, and PCIe Gen 5
- Identify, analyze, and resolve hardware and mechanical design issues during development and manufacturing
- Develop and maintain functional hardware specifications
- Communicate circuit design intent, layout guidelines, and constraints to the layout team
- Provide technical guidance for optimal board layout, performance, and manufacturability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- 4-8 years of board design experience with DDR or high-speed interfaces
- Experience with I2C/I3C interface design
Nice to have
- CPLD/FPGA logic design experience
- PCIe 4.0/5.0 design experience
- Working knowledge of AGILE Product Lifecycle Management system
