Senior Hardware Architect
Seeking a Senior Hardware Architect to join a networking silicon group, responsible for micro-architecture design of next-generation DPU SOC and ConnectX NIC. You will work closely with architecture and design teams, perform performance analysis, and guide implementation to meet product goals.
Responsibilities
- Design micro-architecture for next-generation network cards and SoCs in collaboration with product architects.
- Analyze system requirements and identify micro-architecture solutions, weighing performance, area, and power trade-offs.
- Break high-level architecture requirements into lower-level design building blocks and guide the design team through implementation.
- Conduct performance analysis and simulations to identify bottlenecks early in the development cycle.
- Debug pre- and post-silicon full-chip issues using a comprehensive understanding of the entire chip and system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in architecture or micro-architecture.
- Deep understanding of RTL design, including timing, area, power, and complexity considerations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to document and present requirements to peers and design teams.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Professional RTL design implementation and implementation definition experience.
- Prior experience defining network cards, Smart NIC SoCs, high-speed interconnects, or switches.
