Seeking a Senior Electro-Optics Engineer to lead component definition, testing, and integration for advanced systems. Requires 5+ years in electro-optics and strong technical leadership.
Responsibilities
- Define, select, and characterize critical electro-optical components.
- Provide technical expertise in lasers, day/night optics, thermal imaging, displays, and laser rangefinders.
- Support integration of electro-optical components into systems and sub-systems.
- Lead testing, characterization, and analysis of electro-optical components and systems.
- Work with international suppliers, including technical evaluation and co-development.
- Define technical specifications and ensure supplier compliance.
- Solve complex technical challenges in electro-optics and optics.
Requirements
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics, Electro-Optics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in electro-optical systems or component development.
- Strong hands-on experience in electro-optics (mandatory).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with lasers, thermal imaging, day/night optics, displays, or LRF.
- Experience working with international suppliers.
- Experience leading an engineering team.
