Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer to lead the development of next-generation processing units. You will own the full lifecycle from schematic design to mass production, working with Intel processors and COM Express architectures. Responsibilities include high-speed board design, signal integrity simulation, and collaboration across engineering disciplines to deliver robust, production-ready hardware.
Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of complex digital hardware boards from schematic capture to high-yield mass production
- Collaborate on digital hardware architecture, including modular computing strategies and multi-sensor integration
- Lead the detailed design and integration of Intel processors and COM Express form factors, managing high-speed buses
- Execute pre- and post-layout Signal Integrity and Power Integrity simulations
- Champion DFx methodologies and ensure flawless production transfer
- Work closely with layout subcontractors and cross-disciplinary R&D teams to resolve constraints
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 8+ years of board design experience with complex high-speed digital hardware
- Deep hands-on experience with Intel processors and COM Express architectures
- Proven track record routing and debugging high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe, USB, MIPI, memory)
- Expertise in multi-layer PCB design with fine-pitch BGAs and HDI
- Strong foundation in SI/PI fundamentals and lab debugging
Nice to have
- High proficiency with Altium Designer and advanced simulation tools (HyperLynx, Ansys)
- Experience with Arena PLM
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (FCC/CE/MIC, EMI/EMC)
- Basic understanding of RF fundamentals
