Manage engineering schedule and deliverables, integrate multidisciplinary design, and oversee technical procurement for renewable energy projects. Perform energy simulations and design high-voltage power systems while coordinating with regulators and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own engineering schedule and deliverables across project phases
- Integrate and advance design across multiple engineering disciplines
- Manage external consultants and internal resources
- Lead technical procurement, budgeting, and innovation
- Identify and analyze risk levels; support commercial decision-making
- Perform energy simulations for PV, wind, and storage systems
- Design high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage power systems
- Liaise with system operators, the Israel Electric Corporation, and regulatory bodies
- Support project development before planning committees and government entities
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer in an engineering firm
- Experience in design or construction of energy generation and storage facilities
- Experience managing and advancing complex design processes
- High proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading)
- Proficiency in CAD systems and PVsyst
Nice to have
- Experience designing ultra-high-voltage (UHV) facilities
- Familiarity with WindPro and Digsilent
