Physical Design Engineer

Responsibilities
- Focus on process and construction technology to build best in-class products across P-core CPUs.
- Use state of the art VLSI design tools and methods, performing deep analysis to predict and optimize product power, area, and frequency.
- Work on cutting edge process technologies including frequency-power optimization, STA, PVT, clock distribution, and power grid planning.
- Conduct all aspects of physical design flow: synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, and power analysis.
- Deeply analyze results and make recommendations for current and future process needs.
- Possess expertise in structural and physical design, including physical clock design, timing closure, coverage analysis, placing, routing, and synthesis.
- Participate in development and improvement of physical design methodologies.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering
- At least 1+ years of experience in BE Design using industry EDA tools
- Experience in TCL

- Experience with Synopsys and Cadence EDA tools
- Experience in Python
