We are seeking a PCB Layout Engineer to design complex multilayer PCBs for cutting-edge hardware. You will work with hardware and mechanical engineers, define design rules, route high-speed signals, and prepare manufacturing packages.
Responsibilities
- Design complex multilayer PCBs (2-12 layers and above, HDI, buried vias) using Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
- Work closely with hardware engineers, implementing Cadence Capture schematics accurately into layout.
- Define design rules based on electrical, EMC/EMI, Signal Integrity (SI), and Power Integrity (PI) requirements.
- Route high-speed, power, analog/digital signals, and communication interfaces.
- Handle low/medium voltage designs, including strict isolation and separation requirements.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers for full enclosure integration.
- Prepare manufacturing packages (ODB++, Gerber, Drill, Stackup, Pick & Place) and support NPI/production.
Requirements
- Practical Engineer or Technician in Electronics/Electricity (minimum).
- 3-5+ years of hands-on PCB layout design experience.
- Proven experience with multilayer boards and mixed-signal designs (Analog + Digital).
- Solid understanding of SI/PI and EMC/EMI standards.
- Experience working directly with PCB manufacturers and assembly vendors.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and fluent English.
Nice to have
- Strong experience with Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.
- Experience with Cadence Capture.
