Hands-on Mechanical Engineer responsible for leading mechanical design of assemblies and systems from concept to product, including electro-mechanical integration, thermal management, prototyping, and field deployment for portable energy systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design of assemblies and systems – from concept to product.
- Design electro-mechanical systems, mechanisms, structures, and enclosures.
- Design solutions for integrating electrical, control, and battery components into the system.
- Design thermal management solutions.
- Build and test prototypes and make adjustments and improvements based on results.
- Hands-on involvement in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and fieldwork.
- Work directly with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in designing and leading mechanical assemblies and systems.
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to be directly involved in building, testing, and problem solving.
- High level English.
Nice to have
- Experience in electro-mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with batteries, generators, PV systems, or energy systems.
