Responsible for mechanical design and integration of flight-test equipment on test aircraft, from individual sensors to complex instrumentation packages. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions under tight schedules. Requires B.Sc. in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering, proficiency in NX/CATIA, and experience in aircraft structures.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design of flight-test equipment installations on test aircraft.
- Design and integrate installations ranging from individual sensors to complex instrumentation packages.
- Provide engineering support and creative solutions under tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, flight-test, and technical support teams.
- Address engineering and operational challenges throughout flight-test processes.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide practical solutions under tight schedules
Nice to have
- Experience with mechanical design of aircraft structures or installations
- Previous Israeli Air Force service
- Proficiency in NX or CATIA
- Experience in multidisciplinary environments
