Responsibilities
- Design manufacturing tools, fixtures, molds, and handling equipment
- Develop tooling solutions for machining, composites, and assembly
- Prepare manufacturing process documentation
- Implement engineering changes and improvements to existing tools
- Define technical specifications for tooling design and production by subcontractors
- Collaborate with subcontractors throughout the design and manufacturing process
- Provide engineering support to manufacturing engineers and production teams
- Investigate and resolve manufacturing, tooling, and process issues
- Review and interpret complex mechanical drawings and technical documentation
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design
- Hands-on experience with SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing documentation
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks in a dynamic environment
Nice to have
- Experience in design of manufacturing tools, jigs, and fixtures
- Experience with NX
- Knowledge of industrial coatings and surface treatment processes
- Experience with machining, composites, assembly, or multidisciplinary production environments
