Join a multidisciplinary systems development team. Develop mechanical enclosures for marine, airborne, and ground-based systems. Perform thermal, structural, and dynamic analyses. Support electronic packaging, manufacturing, and field installations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, management, and customers throughout the development lifecycle.
- Design and develop mechanical enclosures for marine systems.
- Create ruggedized and industrial enclosures for airborne and ground-based projects.
- Conduct thermal, structural, and dynamic analyses using SolidWorks Simulation.
- Assist in electronic circuit design regarding mechanical packaging and enclosures.
- Oversee the transition from development to production.
- Manage and inspect mechanical manufacturing at subcontractor sites and support system assembly during integration.
- Perform field installations and provide customer support domestically and internationally.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical development.
- Proven experience in developing mechanical enclosures for complex systems.
- Expertise in designing enclosures with passive and active heat dissipation methods.
- Strong presentation and communication skills for interfacing with customers, management, and electronic development teams.
- Mandatory experience in structural and thermal analyses.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
- Proficiency in PDM.
- Very good English skills.
Nice to have
- Experience designing enclosures for marine or underwater applications.
- Knowledge of Priority software.
