Mechanical engineering student role to design tools and fixtures, define manufacturing processes, and manage subcontractors for aerospace products.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical tools and fixtures for manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
- Define manufacturing processes and prepare production documentation.
- Supervise and manage subcontractor companies and manufacturers.
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering student with at least 1.5 years of studies remaining.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- High-level English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Availability for at least 3 working days per week.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of composite-material aerospace structural components.
- Experience in a manufacturing plant or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing technologies.
