Lead a team responsible for developing and maintaining a Linux-based operating system kernel. Manage kernel features, installation, boot sequence, file system, and packages. Collaborate with R&D groups, develop tailored features, and resolve security vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead OS kernel features, installation process, boot sequence, file system and packages
- Work closely with other R&D groups to provide OS-related solutions
- Develop tailored features for specific customers
- Find and resolve security vulnerabilities in the OS
Requirements
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Technical leadership / managerial experience
- 4+ years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in C/C++ in Linux
- Understanding of Linux operating system internals
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols in Linux
- Ability to work in a stressful, multitasking environment
- Quick learning ability
