Hardware Design Lead
Lead the design of custom silicon solutions for direct-to-consumer products. Oversee IP development from microarchitecture to implementation using Verilog/SystemVerilog. Manage a team, ensure integration into SoC, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Drive technical involvement throughout the entire IP development cycle, ensuring seamless integration into SoC.
- Perform RTL development and debug in SystemVerilog, including function and performance simulation.
- Conduct Lint, CDC, FV, and UPF checks.
- Collaborate with software, verification, emulation, physical design, packaging, and silicon validation teams.
- Lead the edge AI IP design team across definition, implementation, and deployment phases.
- Establish IP development methodologies and share unified blocks within the team.
- Author block-level design documents covering interface protocol, block diagram, transaction flow, and pipeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience with design from microarchitecture through implementation using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- 10 years of experience in managing teams and groups.
- Experience in microarchitecture, design, verification, logic synthesis, and timing closure.
- Experience with system design principles for low latency, high throughput, security, and reliability.
- Experience with chip design flow, chip architecture, design methodologies, physical design, and verification processes.
Nice to have
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in micro-architecture and design of AI modules, optimizing power, performance, and area.
- Experience in leading chip development projects and teams and execution.
- Ability to motivate and focus collaborative teams to achieve testing goals.
