We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our NIC firmware team. You will work on cutting-edge networking features for cloud, HPC, and storage, collaborating with architecture and software teams. The role involves implementing new firmware features, developing verification tests, and gaining deep understanding of system debug and networking technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architecture and software design teams to define and implement features.
- Develop new features for NIC firmware in pre- and post-silicon environments.
- Create verification tests for advanced features in a sophisticated testing environment.
- Debug and analyze system-level issues involving hardware/firmware/software interactions.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including development, testing, qualification, and release.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- 1+ years of professional experience in firmware or embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++.
- Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with strong interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of network protocols.
- Experience with real-time programming.
- Familiarity with storage protocols.
