Join a team building networking drivers for cloud infrastructure. You'll design and implement high-performance kernel and user-space drivers for multiple operating systems, optimize network performance, contribute to open-source, and debug complex issues.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement networking drivers for cloud controllers
- Optimize network performance to improve bandwidth and reduce latency
- Develop and maintain kernel and user-space drivers for multiple operating systems
- Contribute to open-source projects and upstream kernel work
- Debug complex networking issues in production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and kernel maintainers
- Monitor performance metrics and maintain code quality standards
- Build test automation tools for driver reliability and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong C/C++14 programming skills
- Experience with systems programming (kernel or user-space)
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP stack and network protocols
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, or FreeBSD operating systems
Nice to have
- Open-source contributions or upstream kernel experience
- Performance profiling and optimization skills
- Knowledge of BPF/eBPF programming
- Experience with Windows HLK certification
- Experience with DPDK, SR-IOV, or hardware offload
- Understanding of PCIe, DMA, or hardware-software interfaces
