Responsible for electrical and avionics schematic design, wire harness development, and system integration for advanced airborne platforms. Requires B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and strong English communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical and avionics schematics and manufacturing documentation for wire harnesses
- Select components with emphasis on aerospace-certified parts and standards
- Integrate with systems engineering and mechanical installation teams, including harness concept design
- Select wires and cables for power, communication, fiber optics, and other applications
- Write specifications for power distribution boxes and support design reviews through aircraft installation
- Develop design and manufacturing documentation using HarnesSYS
- Develop cost- and weight-effective engineering solutions while maintaining high aerospace quality standards
- Prepare presentations and present technical topics in design reviews
- Provide technical support to customers
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in electrical schematic design and integration of complex systems
- Strong English communication skills
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
Nice to have
- Experience in the Israeli Air Force as a design engineer or aircraft electrician/instrument technician
- Experience in aircraft upgrades as an engineer or practical engineer
