Device Engineer
Responsible for designing, fabricating, and testing active semiconductor devices such as thin film transistors for implantable quantum applications. Own process development in cleanrooms, including lithography, metallization, and etching, and integrate components with novel devices.
Responsibilities
- Design, simulate, and characterize active transistor devices.
- Develop full-chain fabrication processes in cleanrooms, including advanced lithography, metallization, and etching.
- Integrate components with existing and novel devices.
- Manage in-sourcing and outsourcing of development as needed.
Requirements
- 4+ years designing and fabricating devices in cleanrooms.
- Experience with transistor design (FET, TFT, CMOS).
- Strong knowledge of device physics, design, fabrication, and characterization.
- Experience with semiconducting materials such as GaN, Si, metal oxides, or other wide band-gap materials.
- Master's or PhD in physics, Electrical Engineering, Material Engineering, or similar.
- Experience with a-Si or IGZO, TFTs, high power or RF FETs, silicon on insulator, digital/analog circuits.
- Software simulation skills: ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar.
