Chip Design Engineer
Take part in developing the next generation semiconductor platform based on a revolutionary architecture. Full ownership of IP micro-architecture, RTL design, synthesis, timing closure, and sign-off. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality chips deployed on millions of servers.
Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of one or more IPs, including micro-architecture and RTL coding.
- Perform synthesis and timing closure to meet performance, power, and area goals.
- Conduct sign-off reviews to ensure quality and reliability standards.
- Support verification and emulation teams with test plans and coverage review.
- Collaborate with product definition, software, and physical design teams.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in chip design.
- Hands-on experience with micro-architecture and RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
- BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Nice to have
- Background in protocols such as AXI, CHI, DDR, Networking, and PCIe.
- Knowledge of Network-on-Chip (NoC) architecture.
- Experience with coherent and non-coherent fabric design.
- Experience with the entire SoC design cycle: Synthesis, STA, CDC, Lint.
- Experience with Design Automation tools and techniques.
- Advanced degree in a related technical field.
