Seeking an experienced Board Design Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of electronic board and avionics system design for advanced loitering munition systems. Includes bring-up, validation, and transition to production. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in field testing.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of electronic boards and avionics systems.
- Full ownership of hardware development lifecycle from concept to serial production.
- Board bring-up, validation, and verification testing.
- Hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Documentation, test reports, and design reviews.
- Addressing EMI/EMC challenges and ensuring compliance.
- Supporting system integration, qualification, and field testing.
- Leading cross-organizational processes for quality and production readiness.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- 7+ years of electronic board design experience.
- Proficiency with OrCAD and Allegro.
- Strong hands-on capability and independence.
- Methodical and organized problem-solving.
- Excellent teamwork and accountability.
- Willingness for field-testing.
- Experience with communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, PCI, Ethernet).
Nice to have
- Power board design experience.
- Familiarity with LTspice and PSpice.
- Knowledge of avionics systems and standards.
- EMI/EMC testing experience.
