Seeking a hands-on technical co-founder to lead development of a pop culture collector social media platform, 80% built. Own technology roadmap, codebase optimization, and infrastructure. Work with non-technical co-founders on product direction. Based in Israel, hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Take full end-to-end ownership of technology roadmap, codebase optimization, and infrastructure.
- Complete the remaining ~20% of core development required for platform launch.
- Oversee software architecture, database management, and platform security as the platform scales.
- Work closely with non-technical co-founders on feature prioritization, UI/UX implementation, and product direction.
Requirements
- Senior engineering background with deep hands-on experience building, launching, or scaling consumer-facing web and mobile applications using React, React Native, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to independently manage a near-complete codebase and drive technical execution without supervision.
- Must be located in Israel (Central region preferred for periodic in-person syncs).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with motivation to build a product from the ground up and take co-founder ownership.
