Early-stage AI startup seeks a Computer Science student for a part-time engineering role in Tel Aviv (hybrid). You will own features across the full stack—frontend, backend, databases, and integrations—using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Join as a foundational engineer and help shape the product from day one.
Responsibilities
- Improve product stability, reliability, and performance
- Debug and resolve production issues
- Polish and enhance the user interface and user experience
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and platforms
- Work across the full stack: frontend, backend, databases, authentication, and infrastructure
- Improve testing, monitoring, and security practices
- Leverage AI development tools while upholding high engineering standards
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong foundation in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React or Next.js
- Comfortable working with APIs and databases
- Proficient with Git and GitHub
- Built real projects outside of coursework (portfolio/GitHub required)
- Effective use of AI coding tools with understanding of generated code
- Independent problem-solving skills
- Passion for security, reliability, and great user experiences
- Desire for meaningful responsibility and ownership
Nice to have
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, Vercel, OAuth, third‑party platform APIs, or SaaS products
