Seeking an experienced GIS Developer to build and maintain GIS systems, develop web maps, and perform advanced geographic analysis. Responsibilities include requirements analysis, tool selection, and client collaboration. Requires 5+ years software development, GIS experience, and proficiency in JavaScript, .NET, SQL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS systems
- Develop web maps and new modules
- Perform advanced geographic analysis
- Work with clients and users
- Define requirements and identify user needs
- Select appropriate tools and lead implementation processes
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience, including 2 years in GIS
- Experience in web map development
- Experience with MapLibre GL JS or Mapbox GL JS
- Experience with GeoServer and Open Source GIS tools
- Experience in JavaScript and TypeScript development
- Experience with .NET environment
- Good knowledge of SQL and working with PostgreSQL or MSSQL
- Experience in advanced geographic analysis
- Ability to understand processes, logical analysis, and system requirements definition
- Self-learning ability, teamwork, and good interpersonal skills
- Experience working with clients
Nice to have
- Experience in urban content
- Experience with Leaflet.js and QGIS
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with ESRI tools: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS
- Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript, ArcGIS REST API, or ArcGIS API for Python
- Experience in C# and ArcGIS Pro SDK for .NET
