Join a startup developing implantable wireless sensors for cardiac monitoring. As a senior software engineer, you will design and implement core components, build backend and web APIs, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to bring life-changing technology to market.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core software components end-to-end
- Write production-grade code in C#/.NET Core and C++
- Build high-performance backend code and web-related components (UI, APIs)
- Integrate software with hardware and algorithm constraints
- Debug complex issues across Windows and Linux environments
- Improve engineering quality: tests, tooling, documentation, CI/build flows, code reviews
- Take ownership of deliverables and drive tasks to completion
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Software Engineering from a recognized university
- 5+ years professional software development experience
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Web development experience (e.g., React/TypeScript/JavaScript and/or web APIs)
- Comfortable working in Windows and Linux
- Strong fundamentals in software design, architecture, debugging, and problem solving
Nice to have
- Experience with MATLAB and/or Python
- Experience in medical devices or similar high-reliability products
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment (software + hardware/algorithms/system)
