Responsible for triaging and troubleshooting production incidents, supporting editorial workflows, and maintaining digital products. Collaborate on new features with cross-functional teams. Requires 2+ years full-stack development experience with emphasis on front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and experience with AWS. Nice to have: CI/CD, DevOps, and monitoring skills.
Responsibilities
- Triage and troubleshoot bugs and production incidents.
- Support editorial workflows and operational maintenance of digital products.
- Support live news events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning and executing new features.
- Document contributions and processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years full-stack development experience with emphasis on front-end development.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive design.
- Experience with AWS and cloud platforms.
- Understanding of engineering best practices, design patterns, testing, and alerting.
- Experience building fully responsive designs across screen resolutions and browsers.
Nice to have
- Editorial programming or journalism experience.
- Experience with Cursor, Gemini, or Claude tools.
- Experience with publishing CMS.
- Creating automated solutions to user needs.
- Experience with monitoring, alerting, and synthetic tests.
- Experience with live streaming events.
- Familiarity with programming languages, frameworks, platforms, APIs, and SDKs.
- Knowledge of Operations, CI/CD, and DevOps.
