End User Technology Engineer
Join a global financial services organization as an End User Technology Engineer. Provide onsite IT support, maintain office infrastructure, and ensure seamless technology experiences for local users. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in Microsoft environments and excellent customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT support for the office, including desktop, telephony, networking, and business applications.
- Maintain IT infrastructure and support office technologies such as laptops, desktops, and printers.
- Build, repair, and deploy end-user computing hardware.
- Offer L2/L3 support to the service desk for end-user technology issues.
- Support Windows 365 infrastructure and endpoints.
- Manage video conferencing and meeting room solutions.
- Deploy IT equipment for new starters and collect equipment from leavers.
- Provide hands-and-eyes support for remote teams, including network infrastructure deployment and issue resolution.
- Handle network cabling, patching, office moves, and setups.
- Manage IT asset inventory.
- Provision, deploy, and support phones, including Teams for Voice.
- Collaborate with vendors and local office management on technology issues.
- Communicate clearly with users, keeping them informed of request progress.
- Escalate major IT issues and risks to the service manager.
- Research, test, and implement new systems to improve efficiencies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a computer-related support or IT operational environment.
- Good understanding of Microsoft technologies: Intune, Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows 365.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience with documentation and improving SOPs and process documents.
- Strong customer focus and excellent timekeeping.
- Good interpersonal skills with a focus on listening and questioning.
- Problem-solving abilities and capability to work under own initiative.
- Experience configuring and supporting Windows Desktop (10/11).

- Basic experience with supporting physical networking.
