Seeking a C++ Linux Developer to design, develop, and integrate software for robotic and autonomous vehicle platforms. The role involves transitioning code from Windows to Linux/ARM edge hardware and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, code, and integrate software components in laboratory environments and on robotic/autonomous vehicle platforms.
- Transition code from a Windows-based development environment to Linux/ARM-based edge hardware.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including software, hardware, system engineering, and integration teams.
- Lead technical tasks independently while contributing as part of a collaborative development team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in modern C++ software development.
- Hands-on experience developing in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Knowledge and experience in embedded real-time systems, including understanding hardware constraints and ARM processor limitations.
- Experience in object-oriented software architecture and implementation.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, strict memory management, and performance optimization.
- Ability to work effectively in a team while independently leading technical topics.
- High learning ability and strong problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge and experience with ROS2.
- Knowledge and experience with Python.
- Experience in GPU software development using CUDA or OpenCL.
- Proven experience integrating and developing interfaces with hardware components.
- Experience working in development environments transitioning from Windows to Linux.
