Join a company specializing in advanced building automation and control systems for commercial and residential projects. This full-time, on-site role in Petah Tikva involves programming, integrating, and commissioning BMS solutions, with occasional site work. You will collaborate with project managers and installers to deliver customized control systems that enhance comfort, safety, and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze project requirements and implement control logic for building automation systems.
  • Integrate subsystems including complex DALI lighting, HVAC, shading, and energy management.
  • Configure and program DDC, PLC, and KNX controllers, sensors, and user interfaces.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis for hardware and network issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, installers, and suppliers to ensure smooth deployment.
  • Provide technical support, implement updates and optimizations, and assist in training clients or internal staff on system usage and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience programming BMS with DDC, PLC, KNX, or similar controllers.
  • Experience in system integration using communication protocols such as Modbus, KNX, BACnet, and interfacing hardware with software platforms.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications for building control and electrical systems.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for hardware and network issues in automation environments.
  • Familiarity with IP networking basics, fieldbus communication, and low-voltage control infrastructure relevant to building automation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document configurations, procedures, and test reports.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a project-based environment.

Nice to have

  • Relevant technical education (electrical, electronics, computer science, or equivalent practical training) – a significant advantage.
  • Previous experience in smart home, smart buildings, or building management systems in Israel – an advantage.
