Senior Platform Engineer for an AI-native insider risk platform. Own end-to-end infrastructure, Kubernetes, Kafka, Terraform, cloud, data pipelines, and AI-driven engineering workflows. On-site Tel Aviv, full-time.
Responsibilities
- Own systems end-to-end, including infrastructure, pipelines, and production behavior.
- Run and evolve cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, Kafka, Terraform, and GitOps on AWS with multi-cloud ahead.
- Build data backbone: ingestion, streaming, and pipelines into lakehouse that remain correct and cost-efficient.
- Build AI-native engineering workflows: sandboxes, dev environments, automated verification, guardrails, feedback loops.
- Build golden paths from repo to production without human bottleneck.
- Use AI coding tools (Claude, Codex, Cursor) as default tools.
- Debug production issues across the stack without handoffs.
- Ship fast, learn fast, fix fast; take responsibility for what you build after launch.
Requirements
- 6+ years as software engineer with real infrastructure and platform ownership.
- Deep Kubernetes: production cluster management and debugging.
- Production experience with distributed data systems: Kafka or equivalent streaming plus pipelines at scale.
- Infrastructure as Code fluency, specifically Terraform.
- Deep cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with networking, identity, and cost considerations.
- Daily heavy usage of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).
- High ownership, low ego, high output.
- Willing to work 5 days/week from Tel Aviv office.
Nice to have
- Built internal developer platforms or golden paths adopted by engineers.
- Lakehouse experience: Iceberg, Snowflake, ClickHouse, Athena, or similar.
- Multi-cloud or cloud-migration experience.
- GitOps at scale (ArgoCD, Argo Workflows), autoscaling and cost engineering.
- Background in security, data-heavy, or enterprise systems.
- Experience with AI-powered products in production or agent infrastructure and evals.
- Startup experience where ownership was unavoidable.
