Application Infrastructure Engineer – Oracle and Linux

Join an application infrastructure team supporting production data replication, database synchronization, and enterprise integrations across Oracle, Adabas, Red Hat Linux, Informatica, and Java environments. The role is based in Petah Tikva with one work-from-home day.
Responsibilities
- Support and maintain the CONNX data replication system
- Maintain synchronization processes between Oracle and Adabas databases
- Operate interfaces and integrations with Informatica and Java systems
- Install, upgrade, and operate system components on Red Hat Linux servers
- Perform testing and promote changes between environments
- Support production systems and resolve complex incidents
- Analyze issues with development, DBA, and infrastructure teams
- Coordinate with the product vendor on incident resolution and upgrades
- Write technical documentation and procedures and track tasks
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle and SQL
- At least 3 years of experience operating Linux or Red Hat systems
- Experience working in production environments
- Ability to work with development and infrastructure teams
- Independent learning ability and interest in data replication
Nice to have
- Experience with Adabas and Natural
- Experience integrating Adabas and Oracle environments
- Experience with ETL or data integration processes
- Bash or Shell experience in Linux environments
- Experience in insurance or financial systems
- Familiarity with Informatica
