Seeking a Windows Kernel Engineer to design and develop protection modules for an XDR security platform. The role involves kernel driver and user-mode development in C++, collaborating with research and product teams, and mentoring developers.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop future protection modules for the XDR product
  • Implement and test critical components including kernel drivers and user-mode OS infrastructures in C++
  • Collaborate with research and product teams to leverage knowledge
  • Mentor and guide a team of core developers
  • Write design documents, development guidelines, and best practices

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in C++17 (or newer) system programming and low-level development in Windows
  • At least 1 year of experience with Windows kernel driver development
  • Good understanding of Windows internals and kernel
  • Experience with Windows debugging tools like WinDbg
  • Experience with at least one: KMDF, File System Minifilters, Registry callbacks, or WFP Callouts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to have

  • Experience in development of security products
