Windows Kernel Engineer
Seeking a Windows Kernel Engineer to design and develop protection modules for an XDR security platform. The role involves kernel driver and user-mode development in C++, collaborating with research and product teams, and mentoring developers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop future protection modules for the XDR product
- Implement and test critical components including kernel drivers and user-mode OS infrastructures in C++
- Collaborate with research and product teams to leverage knowledge
- Mentor and guide a team of core developers
- Write design documents, development guidelines, and best practices
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years of experience in C++17 (or newer) system programming and low-level development in Windows
- At least 1 year of experience with Windows kernel driver development
- Good understanding of Windows internals and kernel
- Experience with Windows debugging tools like WinDbg
- Experience with at least one: KMDF, File System Minifilters, Registry callbacks, or WFP Callouts
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
