As a Software Engineer on the Cloud Networking team, you will build tools and data pipelines for network observability. You will lead AI transformation by developing agentic tools with LLM-driven workflows. This role involves on-call support and collaboration with SREs to ensure reliability.
Responsibilities
- Build tools and data pipelines for cloud network observability
- Design and implement observability solutions (e.g., packet sample logs)
- Lead AI transformation by building agentic tools with LLM-driven workflows
- Contribute to scalability of data pipelines and AI diagnostic suite
- Participate in on-call rotation to resolve customer escalations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 1 year of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1 year of experience with observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, OpenTelemetry)
- Expertise in networking implementation details of a major cloud provider (e.g., VPC, peering, firewalls, GKE/EKS networking)
- Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues in a public cloud environment
