We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong Backend or Full Stack development experience to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop modern software solutions using .NET, Java, and Python, contributing to cloud-native applications, APIs, and distributed systems. This is a remote-first role with opportunities to work across the full technology stack.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and business applications.
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality software using .NET, Java, or Python.
- Develop full stack features when required, collaborating across frontend and backend components.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Designers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Support cloud deployments, monitoring, and production environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Continuously improve development processes and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with at least one of the following: .NET/C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized applications.
- Experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, or other modern frontend frameworks (for Full Stack candidates).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
