Seeking a Senior Staff Backend Engineer to build core SaaS offerings for a new generation Digital Vault product. You will work on an AWS serverless stack using Python and CDK, collaborating with developers, architects, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-quality services from planning through production.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain core SaaS products using an AWS serverless stack, Python, and CDK.
- Collaborate within an agile team through the entire development lifecycle, including architecture, design, testing, and automation.
- Work with developers, architects, DevOps, and QA members to produce high-quality services and maintain high standards.
- Engage in all aspects of the development lifecycle, including handling production-care and responding to customer feedback.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend development with Python, Go, Node.js, or Java (Python is an advantage).
- 3+ years of experience in a cloud environment (AWS preferred) with a deep understanding of SaaS concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience from an elite IDF technology unit.
- Comfortable with all aspects of the agile development lifecycle: architecture, design, testing, automation, and production support.
Nice to have
- Experience in enterprise-scale application development in a cloud/SaaS environment, preferably using AWS serverless stack, CDK, and Python.
- A proactive nature, a drive for constant improvement, and a keen sense of ownership.
- A solid understanding of software security and networking aspects.
