Own end-to-end solution design for strategic initiatives. Design scalable microservices, event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and high-performance MongoDB data models. Collaborate with product, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver production-ready solutions. Challenge requirements, simplify complexity, and influence technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end solution design for strategic product and engineering initiatives.
- Design scalable microservices, event-driven architectures, and integration flows.
- Design high-performance MongoDB data models for production-scale systems, including schema design and indexing strategies.
- Design REST APIs and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Challenge requirements, simplify complexity, and influence technical decisions.
- Work closely with engineers and the Chief Architect to deliver production-ready solutions.
Requirements
- Proven senior experience designing complex distributed systems.
- Strong architectural mindset with the ability to independently design scalable production solutions.
- Deep expertise in MongoDB data modeling, schema design, indexing strategies, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and API design.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ownership mentality and passion for building high-quality software.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech or other regulated environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms.
- Hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar) to improve engineering productivity.
