Lead complex SONiC network operating system initiatives, collaborate with architects and customers, and guide software and hardware integration for data center platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discussions with architects and customers
- Develop proofs of concept for new initiatives
- Lead complex programs within and beyond the engineering group
- Collaborate with design, verification, architecture, and product marketing teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software, computer, electrical, or communication engineering, or equivalent experience
- At least 12 years of experience initiating and leading software features
- Hands-on proficiency in C, C++, and Python
- Strong knowledge of Linux usage and internals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Creative, motivated, and value-driven approach
Nice to have
- Experience leading software and hardware integrations
- Embedded software development experience
- Knowledge of BGP, EVPN, or SRv6 routing protocols
- Familiarity with software development tools, methodologies, and AI tools
- Ability to provide detailed technical guidance on features and bug resolution
