Senior Oracle Developer

Seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to develop and customize Oracle E-Business Suite applications, build integrations, manage data migration, and optimize performance. Collaborate with functional teams and mentor junior developers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Oracle EBS R12.2 modules using OAF, PL/SQL, APEX, Oracle Forms, Reports, and XML Publisher.
  • Build custom workflows and approval processes using Oracle Workflow Builder.
  • Design and implement integrations with third-party applications via APIs, FTP, and web services.
  • Develop custom Web ADI solutions for data retrieval and loading via Excel.
  • Support data migration and conversion, including extraction, transformation, and validation.
  • Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts for querying and performance.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS applications.
  • Conduct system testing and validation for enhancements and integrations.
  • Diagnose and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
  • Create technical documentation and provide training/knowledge transfer.
  • Work with Oracle EBS modules like Enterprise Asset Management, Order Management, Purchasing, Install Base, and Inventory.
  • Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance to junior developers and promote best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Oracle development.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Application Framework (OAF), including View Objects, Application Modules, Entity Objects, and Controller updates.
  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, SQL, Java, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow Builder, and JDeveloper.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and later versions.
  • Practical knowledge of Java, XML, and JavaScript for OAF development.
  • Experience with Oracle Database and performance tuning tools.
  • Familiarity with AIM methodology and enterprise Oracle development practices.
  • Experience developing integrations using APIs, FTP, web services.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, conversion, extraction, and transformation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts and provide mentoring.
