Join a remote team as a Senior Golang Engineer to build backend services for fintech and Web3 payment products. You will design high-performance APIs and microservices, integrate blockchain and smart contracts, and ensure secure transaction processing using Go, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Go for high-performance payment and Web3 systems.
- Build and maintain smart contract integrations and on-chain transaction flows.
- Develop and manage APIs connecting blockchain infrastructure, payment systems, and external services.
- Implement secure transaction-processing workflows with asynchronous confirmations.
- Develop services for cross-chain token swaps, stablecoin transactions, and fund management.
- Ensure robust security for sensitive financial and user data.
- Build and maintain reliable microservices in containerized production environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve live systems focusing on payment and transaction flows.
- Work with databases to maintain data consistency and performance.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production engineering practices.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders on scalable, secure solutions.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and observability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional Go development experience, including 1+ year on Web3 or blockchain projects.
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, especially Ethereum and EVM-compatible networks.
- Practical experience with smart contracts, Ethereum nodes (Geth/Infura), and wallet integrations.
- Understanding of financial transaction lifecycles in Web3 (token transfers, stablecoins).
- Experience designing RESTful and gRPC APIs with security and integration best practices.
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL) focusing on consistency and performance.
- Hands-on experience with containerized applications and Kubernetes in production.
- Solid grasp of cryptographic principles and secure data handling.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Go applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex financial or blockchain transactions.
- Good English communication; Ukrainian or Russian is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed environment.
Nice to have
- Understanding of zk-rollups, sidechains, and Layer 2 scaling technologies.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools for high-volume or financial systems.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
- Knowledge of automated deployment strategies for blockchain and Web3 services.
