Senior Full Stack Developer responsible for designing and building end-to-end features across a layered banking architecture, including React UIs, Next.js BFF, and .NET middleware. Works within a regulated SDLC to deliver secure, reliable financial systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack features across client, BFF, and middleware tiers.
- Develop responsive UIs with React and build Backend-for-Frontend layers with Next.js/JavaScript.
- Implement and integrate middleware services in .NET/C# connecting to core banking systems.
- Write secure, well-tested code with unit and integration test coverage.
- Follow SDLC and governance processes including change management, security gates, and release control.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with product, QA, architects, and client teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Strong React skills including state management and component architecture.
- Experience building BFF layers with Next.js, Node, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid .NET/C# development for services and integrations.
- Proven experience with layered client-BFF-middleware-core architecture.
- Experience with regulated SDLC in banking or comparable enterprise environments.
- Strong testing discipline with NUnit and Jest.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, relational databases, Git, and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, and event-driven patterns.
- Deep knowledge of state machine design for complex workflows.
- Security mindset appropriate for banking.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Prior experience with core banking, payments, or financial systems.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
- Knowledge of AWS, microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
