Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer
Join a team developing custom silicon solutions for next-generation consumer products. You will design and implement real-time embedded firmware for high-speed interconnects, working on low-level drivers, DSP hardware integration, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement real-time embedded C/C++ code for data path control, management, and telemetry.
- Develop low-level drivers and Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) to interface with custom DSP hardware blocks and registers.
- Implement and debug firmware-based adaptation algorithms for equalizer tap updates and gain control (VGA/TIA).
- Write unit tests and participate in continuous integration flows to ensure firmware stability across hardware revisions and emulation platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in Embedded C/C++ programming.
- Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
Nice to have
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience using JTAG, GDB, or Oscilloscopes.
- Understanding of Fixed-Point arithmetic optimization for resource-constrained embedded systems.
