Seeking an experienced backend software engineer to develop C#/.NET applications, integrate with hardware and controllers, and implement communication protocols for simulator and operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend software in C# on the .NET platform (Framework / .NET 6+).
- Integrate and interface with hardware, controllers, cards and diverse system interfaces.
- Implement and support standard communication protocols (UART/serial, UDP, TCP/IP).
- Design and implement HW-SW integration and cross-discipline system interfaces.
- Collaborate with system engineering, hardware, manufacturing and maintenance teams.
- Support existing systems: investigate incidents, debug issues and drive performance improvements.
Requirements
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a relevant STEM field.
- Minimum 5 years professional software development experience.
- Proven experience in C# development and strong OOP skills.
- Hands-on experience with serial communications and network protocols.
- Experience integrating with hardware and standard communication interfaces/protocols.
- Experience with at least one configuration/version control system (ClearCase, TFS, Git).
- Full professional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

- Experience developing for defense/military systems.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
