Design and implement high-performance APIs and services in Go for an event-driven SaaS platform. Collaborate with product and engineering to deliver scalable solutions. 6+ years backend experience, proficiency in Go/TypeScript, cloud platforms, microservices, and TDD required.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and implement high-performance resilient APIs and services
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to deliver robust solutions in short development iterations
- Develop maintainable and clean code with heavy reliance on developer testing
- Make thoughtful trade-offs based on business priorities, user needs, and sustainable technical foundation
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and expertise
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a backend engineer
- Deep familiarity with SaaS architecture and development best practices
- Previous work with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or others
- Proven ability to lead technical projects, set priorities, and own outcomes
- Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities gracefully
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge and experience
Nice to have
- Hands-on proficiency in Go and/or TypeScript
- Experience with methodologies like TDD, Extreme Programming, or Kanban
- Experience in B2B & B2B2C Self-Serve SaaS
- Fintech/Payments industry background
