Lead the design and implementation of complex distributed systems, work on high-throughput backend services, and ensure end-to-end ownership from architecture to production monitoring in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Principal and Software Architect to implement architectural vision.
- Design and implement high-throughput distributed systems across Edge, On-Prem, and Cloud.
- Write scalable and maintainable code using Node.js, Express, and NestJS.
- Take full ownership of the software lifecycle from design to deployment and monitoring.
- Build high-performance backend tasks and BFF layers using REST and gRPC.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or elite military technology unit background.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ in backend and distributed systems.
- Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript with deep Node.js, Express, and NestJS knowledge.
- 5+ years on AWS/Azure/GCP with managed services.
- Experience with event-driven design (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis Stream) and microservices.
- Hands-on with Redis, PostgreSQL, Docker, and basic Kubernetes.
- Expertise in secure multi-tenant SaaS, with Zero Trust and mTLS knowledge.
- Practical React experience and willingness to work on frontend.
Nice to have
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Serverless Framework, Terraform, AWS CDK).
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, ClaudeCode).
- Time-series telemetry pipelines and long-term storage tiering.
- Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
- Python 3.6+ and multi-process/threaded applications.
