Senior backend engineer responsible for web access infrastructure powering agentic AI search. Researches browser behavior, builds browser automation and observability tooling, and scales production systems to internet scale.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze how modern websites communicate with browsers
- Investigate browser fingerprinting and client verification mechanisms
- Build tooling for browser instrumentation, debugging, and observability
- Translate technical research into production systems operating at internet scale
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer on production backend or infrastructure systems
- Expert in Chromium architecture, browser lifecycle, and Chrome DevTools Protocol
- Proficient with Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar browser automation frameworks
- Strong knowledge of HTTP, TLS, DNS, and browser networking
- Experience with cookies, browser storage, caching, and session management
Nice to have
- Experience working on browser engines or browser infrastructure
- Experience reverse engineering browser or web application behavior
- Experience building internet-scale distributed systems
- Proficiency in Go, C++, Rust, or Python
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure
