Own backend infrastructure that transforms endpoint telemetry into security intelligence. Build event-driven ingestion, AI enrichment, public APIs, data models, and multi-tenant identity services for a security software platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate event-driven ingestion pipelines for endpoint telemetry
- Orchestrate AI enrichment and research workflows, including contradiction handling and cost and latency control
- Design and maintain public REST APIs, typed schemas, and generated clients
- Develop authentication, SSO/SAML federation, multi-tenant identity, and authorization services
- Own data modeling and safe schema evolution
- Design for reliability, observability, idempotent processing, stale-work recovery, and back-pressure at scale
Requirements
- 6+ years building and operating production backend systems
- Experience with distributed or event-driven systems on a major cloud platform; AWS is preferred
- Strong SQL and relational data modeling skills, including indexes, transactions, and safe schema migrations
- Strong API design skills and experience with typed, contract-first interfaces
- Ability to own service reliability and observability
- Fluency with, or willingness to become fluent in, agentic coding tools
Nice to have
- Experience operating serverless systems at scale
- Experience tuning LLM pipeline cost and latency
- Security, compliance, or B2B SaaS experience
- Familiarity with Pulumi or Terraform
- Some Rust experience
