Seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own data pipelines for a crypto accounting platform. Build systems to ingest on-chain data, reconcile balances, compute cost basis, and generate financial records. Requires 7+ years backend experience and EVM blockchain expertise.
Responsibilities
- Own the data pipeline for ingesting on-chain data across multiple wallets and chains.
- Reconcile balances and compute cost basis on millions of transactions.
- Sync structured accounting entries into ERPs (NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks) in real time.
- Proactively identify and resolve production issues.
- Ensure high reliability, observability, and data integrity of financial systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building and running backend services in production.
- Experience with EVM-compatible blockchains, including transaction receipts, reorgs, and building resilient indexers.
- Strong focus on reliability, observability, and data integrity.
Nice to have
- Experience with accounting systems, financial data, or ERP integrations.
- Previous experience at a crypto or Web3 company.
- Experience building systems that process high-volume, high-stakes financial data.
