Join a core engineering team building an autonomous execution layer for cloud data and AI workloads. Design and build high-performance backend services, develop resilient systems, and extend an ML-driven engine. Requires 6+ years backend experience, Python/Go, AWS, and distributed systems expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance backend services for real-time autonomous cluster configuration and scaling.
- Develop resilient spot-loss mitigation systems for zero-downtime operations.
- Extend ML-driven execution engine for complex data workloads and AI architectures.
- Handle distributed state, low-latency messaging queues, and cloud data pipelines at scale.
- Build system explainability layers for transparent autonomous decision reasoning.
Requirements
- 6+ years of pure hands-on Backend Engineering experience (core product/infrastructure focus).
- Production mastery of Python or Go.
- Deep AWS experience at scale (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, EMR, Kinesis, API Gateway).
- Experience with distributed compute/data infrastructure (Spark, EMR, Kubernetes, messaging queues).
- Proven on-call rotation experience for critical production services.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Big Data platforms (Spark, Databricks, Trino, Flink, Snowflake).
- Experience with MLOps/AIOps practices or deploying ML models in production.
- Background in cloud cost optimization or FinOps.
- Prior IDF technology unit experience.
